Sup...

Sup... and welcome to the Yea We Lift blog.

After spending countless hours trolling Ming & Raddy's blogs while killing extra time at work, I figured I'd give this blogging thing a try. I always kinda wanted to do it but I just didn't think I'd have enough to write about. Hopefully that won't be a very big problem since I've got a few other people that have agreed to contribute from time to time and I've got quite a few things that I'd like to write about.

As for the content, I plan on keeping it as relevant and interesting as possible but there's a limit to that. Other bloggers have said it before me, there's only so much you can write about WoW and arenas in a given week. So don't be too surprised if you see a few articles pop up that aren't WoW related.

Some other questions/comments you may have...

What the f*** is Yea We Lift?
Its the name of a 5v5 arena team made up of two Canadians, a Marylander and a few other Blizzard approved (eligible) people. We're on Mal'Ganis (Stormstrike) and we've been hovering in and around the top 5.

Who cares about your team, you don't even play on BG9...
Yeah, Stormstrike probably isn't as competetive as Bloodlust.. but its got some perks. One of them being that it's the home of my WoW hero (bonus points to the first person that figures out who it is!). Anyway, its a solid battlegroup and from what I've heard ranks in the top 3-5 US BGs. We've definitely got a lot of good players and it seems like there really aren't that many jerks near the top of the ladder. In fact, I really like a lot of the people that I play against.

Ok enough about your team, who are you?
I'm a rogue that thought the class had a really shitty future in group pvp and raiding that rerolled to a priest just before TBC. I play holy and I'm really not a big fan of the shadow tree. That and... I'm Canadian!

I'll leave it at that for now and I'll put up some actual content at some point tomorrow.

Just noticed, 5 bucks (American) say's that the "WoW Hero" you're referring to is Praetorian/Gurgthock, although Wodin is probably a close second.

Haha no, Gurgthock is the main reason we're on Mal'Ganis now and I did try to join EJ a few times before they started recruiting but he's not my hero. :P
